CHAPLAIN

Phil White

My name is Phil White. I am a USMC Vietnam veteran, but more importantly I am honored to be the Chaplain for VFW Post 8255. As your VFW Chaplain I am charged with being the spiritual officer for our VFW Post, and I take that charge seriously. I am not ordained Clergy, but I am an ordained Presbyterian Elder, a church Trustee, a Volunteer Minister at St. Vincent’s of Clay County, a supporter of J1:9 Ministries which is building an orphanage at The Living Waters Ranch outside of Alajuelita Costa Rica, and I am a Stephen Minister. I am heavily involved in the Great Banquet – a 72-hour Christian retreat, and also involved in Kairos Prison Ministry. I am a man of God, and I take my charge as VFW Chaplain humbly and seriously.

I ask that you reach out to me in times of need, and times of joy. I believe that a sorrow shared is cut in half, and that a joy shared is doubled. That is good God math. I am available to you via email at pcwhite331@comcast.net and via cell at 904.738.1041. If your need is urgent I am available to you 24/7. Really.

I will be visiting our veterans at the Lake City VA Hospital on the 1st Saturday of every even month (February, April, June, August, October, and December), and I invite you to meet me there. I will be there from 11 AM through roughly 3 PM. Please come if you wish, and share some joy with those that need it most. They do. I believe you will receive multiples of what you give. Again, that is good God math.

God bless

Phil White
