Post 1093

post 1093VFW Post 1093 is located in Ipswich, MA and boasts nearly 400 members on our rolls.  Our membership is comprised of veterans from all branches of the service and of every conflict from WWII onward, and we are proud to still have a core group of charter members active in our post 65 years after it was founded.

Our post shares an unusually close integration with our community since we embarked on a creative and mutually beneficial relationship with YMCA of the North Shore and share a facility with the Ipswich branch.

post 1093 memorialA core group of members has shepherded our post through the ebb and wane of the life of any organization, and the proof of their foresight and commitment is our growing membership and involvement in the community.

Lately our post has seen an increase in membership as more veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom return home eager to maintain the comradeship which they cherished in the service.  Post 1093 has taken a proactive approach to welcoming and assisting these veterans, including our acclaimed Iraq/Afghanistan Veterans Convention.

Please browse our site for a broader overview of our activities and if you are an eligible veteran please contact us.  Whether you are eager to join the VFW, considering joining, or even not inclined to join but looking for the comradeship of folks who understand you better than the general community, we welcome the opportunity to become acquainted.
