  The Branson/Hollister post 11290 is proud to announce Ben Sparks from School of the Ozarks our local Patriot Pen winner. Ben then went on to win the district and ultimately the State. His submission now goes on to compete for the national prize. Let’s all wish this outstanding young man good luck!

Centralia VFW Post 6276 will hold it’s Free Will Donation Ham and Bean Dinner / Service Officer Event will be held on Saturday Feb 17 at the Centralia Missouri Senior Center. Service Officer Event will be from 3pm to 5pm with Dinner being served from 4:30pm to 7pm.

Linda Bell won the drawing on February 1, 2018.  She selected #1 and revealed the 7 of Spades.  She won $25.00.

The Lee’s Summit VFW, Jack Ray Post 5789 is providing a Breakfast to fund-raise for our General Funds account that is used to support local Veterans.

These breakfast’s will be every Second Saturday of each month.
Cost: $7.00 (kids under 10yrs are $5.00)
Menu: Pancakes, Eggs, Biscuits, Gravy, Sausage, Fruit, Coffee, Milk, & OJ 
Please come out and support us, so we can continue to support our Veterans.

Members of VFW Post 2513 – Commander Teresa Shane, members Alex Slocum, Shannon and Rodney Kennedy – and an airman from Whiteman AFB, Jade LeMay, volunteered with more than 500 volunteers to lay wreaths at the gravesites of our veteran heroes.
