POW/MIA Flag Presentation in West Plains, Mo

    District 18 Female Veterans Service Officer Ruth Vaughn, District Quartermaster Ed Hawley and Post 3009 Service Officer Bill Moriarty traveled to West Plains to raise the POW/MIA Flag at the Air-Evac Lifeteam Headquarters.  Air-Evac was founded in 1985 to serve the rural Missouri Ozark area and focuses on providing services to the medically underserved areas of rural America.  District 18 admires and respects the service provided by Air-Evac and salutes them for helping to make our lives in the Ozarks a little better.  In addition to the mentioned VFW members, the entire operational staff of Air-Evac participated in the POW/MIA Flag raising.
    Ladies Auxiliary member and POW/MIA chairperson Pat Berge representing Post 1828  coordinated the ceremony while Post 1828 Service Officer Daniel Hutchinson provides the pictures, and District 18 POW/MIA Chairman Bill Moriarty provides the story.
