Excellence In Community Service

VFW National announced on May 16, 2012 that VFW Post 7356 will be awarded the Award of Excellence for the “Thank You Recruits” project for 2011.

The “Thank You Recruits” project is the program that we did in cooperation with Southwest Airlines.  We built goody bags with food items and other treats to be given to the military recruits that leave Kansas City en route to their basic training site.
