Our strength, as a district, is in sharing and helping other posts in our district.  We join together to help other posts with parades, hoedowns, barbecues, and socials.  An example can be found at Mebane Post 1920.  They joined with the American Legionnaires of Mebane at post 95 and other posts in the district to promote patriotism through community activities and parade participation.  This helps make the Veterans of Foreign Wars more visible in our area.
