Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery

There are hundreds of veterans in the Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. They represent service back to the Civil War.  You can spot their graves by the military markings on their stones.

We did a count of just a small section between the two entrances on Legion Road.  There were well over a hundred graves.  Won’t you come join us Veterans Day weekend to decorate their graves.  It is a post tradition.

Remember, Memorial Day is for the dead.  Veterans Day is for the living.  Graves are not decorated on Veterans Day.
