Welcome to Veterans of Foreign Wars Virginia District 3. District 3 is one of 13 Districts comprising the VFW Department of Virginia. The fifteen VFW Posts within District 3 are located in Richmond, numerous communities south toward the Tidewater area and the east into the Northern Neck of Virginia.

District 3 has a Headquarters co-located in Mechanicsville with Post 9808.  All of our Posts have Auxiliary organizations located with them.  All of District 3 Posts are active leaders in the VFW Programs, service to Veterans, and in our communities. If you are a Member just moving into the area, or a qualified Veteran looking to join the VFW, we invite you visit the Post nearest to you and find your place in the great work we do and the friendly camaraderie we offer.
