Wisconsin GI Bill Update! Department of Veteran Affairs

Beginning in the Fall Semester of 2013, Veterans who have established and maintained status as a Wisconsin resident for at least 5 consecutive years immediately preceding the beginning of any semester or session for which the student registers at an institution may qualify, even if they were not residents of Wisconsin at the time of entry into a qualified period of “Active Duty” under Title 10 orders. Vets for Vets is proud to announce Dr. Lorry Fenner as our next guest speaker!

Dr. Lorry Fenner, a retired Air Force Colonel who now works for the National Defense University in Washington DC, will be coming to Madison on the 18th of April to give her case supporting the inclusion of women in the combat arms of the military. The purpose of her lecture will be to spark thoughtful, academic discussion on the topic and allow listeners to come to their own conclusions on the matter. Continue reading
