The Warrior Hike “Walk Off the War” program is a outdoor therapy program for veterans transitioning from military service by hiking our country’s National Scenic trails. Recently Afghanistan vets Michael Maziarka and Miles Vining rested at the Burns Post clubhouse and were treated to a pot luck dinner before they returned to their 1,100 mile journey on the Ice Age Trail. They will complete their hike August 15 at Sturgeon Bay.
