The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States announces that Michele Rathke of Merrill VFW Post 1638 has once again achieved All-American status as Post Commander in the VFW Department of Wisconsin.
The criteria for this honor are based on outstanding achievements in membership growth and participation in VFW programs that benefit veterans and their communities. The title of All-American Commander is one of the most prestigious honor given by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Rathke also serves as Senior Vice Commander of the Seventh District of the Department of Wisconsin.
As an All-American Post Commander, Rathke will receive a distinguished cap, pin, and recognition by her VFW comrades.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars is America’s largest organization of war zone veterans.
