Ladies Newsletter September, 2014

Dear Sisters, Welcome to Anna Delarossa, new member to our Auxiliary, and her husband Aaron to our post. So very glad you both have joined 10519. Once again, WELCOME! Thank you to all members that have renewed their annual membership. If you have not done so, please renew as soon as possible. Checks payable to LAVFW 10519, return to Amanda Patterson, use your stamped, addressed envelope which was included in the original renewal request. Renewal is $18.00. Know of someone interested, or you think would be eligible to join our auxiliary, invite them to our “BRING A GUEST ” October 27th meeting. Have them pay us a visit to see firsthand what our auxiliary is all about. Plan on staying after for social time with refreshments. Newsletter Post 10519 September, 2014

SEPTEMBER-2014 NEWSLETTER Greetings Post Members, and Friends of Greendale VFW Post 10519, This is the first newsletter since July. We don’t normally do an August newsletter since there is not much Post activity in August. First, I would like to welcome Aaron and Anna Delarosa as new members to the Post and Auxiliary. I want to send get well wishes to Ralph Steffens who was hospitalized at the VA. Also get well wishes to Quartermaster Ken Kieck who was involved in a motorcycle accident in California. He is back home and on the mend. He will be having surgery to repair a broken collarbone on September 8th. On behalf of the Post, I would like extend condolences to the Gerald Sheel family, Mr. Sheel passed away the end of July. Greendale Village days was Friday August 8th thru Sunday August 10th. The Color Guard once again lead the parade. It was a nice parade and a nice day for the Greendale community. The American Legion also did well, thanks for supporting them.
