JULY 2015 NEWSLETTER Greetings Members and Friends of Greendale VFW Post 10519, I hope everyone is enjoying the summer weather and in good health. I don’ t have any deaths or bad or serious illness to report which is good. I also don’t have any new members to welcome which is not good. Our last newsletter was in early May. Since then many things have happened, On May 8th and 9th we held our community poppy fund raiser. Twelve Post members, nine Auxiliary members and three non-members participated. He hopes to reach his funding goal by Labor Day, but with a little effort on the part of our Posts, maybe we can hit that goal even sooner. Read the story below, and then download the simple Terrence Sund Burial Fund poster and put it up and help publicize this special effort.
