Newsletter Post 10519 March, 2017

MARCH- 2017- NEWSLETTER   Greetings Members and Friends of Greendale VFW Post 10519,   Happy spring to everyone. We have had a fairly easy winter by Wisconsin standards. We have several Post members on the mend from an assortment of different health issues but none are hospitalized that I am aware of.  I would like to welcome Jeremy Anders to the Post. Jeremy is an Army veteran and Greendale resident. He applied for membership after our February meeting, his eligibility has been approved and we will vote him in at our March meeting . Welcome Jeremy.   At our March meeting we will have the nomination of Officers for the 2017-2018 VFW year. The election and additional nominations will take place at the April meeting. There is no pressure to run for any position but any member wishing to get more involved has the opportunity. Auxiliary Newsletter March, 2017

Greetings Brothers and Sisters of VFWA 10519,    Another month has quickly flown by, another auxiliary month comes to a close. Much accomplished at our February meeting with 15 members in attendance. Thank you to all, it takes our entire membership to make 10519 successful.   We elected our delegates and alternates for District Spring Convention and also Department Convention. District Spring Convention will be held Saturday, May 6th at 10:00 AM, at the Brass Key Restaurant, 4952 W. Forest Home Ave. Please mark your calendars, find out firsthand what is happening in the 4th district. Department Convention will be held at the Best Western Conference Center in Oshkosh, June 14th through the 17th. More info to follow, or read the information in the VFW Newspaper.   On March 26th, Amanda Patterson’s music students will hold their annual Instrumental Concert at Zablocki V.A. Medical Center beginning at 2:00 P.M. in room B-312. Also, on April 2, the piano students will perform at 2:00 P.M. held in B-312.
