  GREENDALE VFW POST 10519 FEBRUARY – 2019- NEWSLETTER . Greetings Members and Friends of Greendale VFW Post 10519, This is the first newsletter of 2019, we don’t have a regular meeting in December. The Christmas Party is considered our meeting. With not having a regular meeting and the Holiday’s there usually is very little VFW news to report and so no reason for a January newsletter. Speaking of the Christmas Party, it was well attended with 76 members and friends. The food was very good as well as the adult beverages. Seemed like a good time was had by all. See the attached Auxiliary Newsletter for more information on the Christmas Party. I don’t need to tell you about January’s up and down weather. Unfortunately a severe weather situation occurred the same day as our scheduled meeting. The Officers got together (by phone) and we decided to cancel the meeting due to the heavy snow. Auxiliary Newsletter – February, 2019

Greetings Brothers and Sisters of VFWA 10519,   Come one Come all to the 4th District Winter Meeting! When and where you ask? This Sunday, February 10th, to be held at Clifford’s Supper Club, 10418 W. Forest Home Ave. Department President Laurel Ann Wiese will be paying her official visit at this meeting. Let’s show her what an awesome auxiliary we are. ALL members are invited! This meeting will include the Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen Presentations and Awards for the 4th District. Genevieve Skibicki, Patriots Pen entrant, was not only first place in our post and auxiliary, she placed first in District and 5th in Department. Come show your support for all the young winners that participated. Presentations and awards will begin at 12:00 noon. A short social with post members, winners and their families. Auxiliary meeting to follow. Looking forward to seeing MANY auxiliary members present.   The weather did not cooperate for our January Meeting.
