Ladies Newsletter February, 2014

Dear Sisters,
2014, and what a start with extremely cold and snowy weather. Thanks to those that battled the cold to attend our January meeting.
Congrats to Virginia Rocke-Orlowski celebrating 50 years in the VFW Auxiliary. What a blessing to have you at 10519.
Great to see Julie Pipke at our last meeting, and correspondence from Anne and Annette Kuligowski , pleased to know you are both doing well.
I will be attending C of A (Council of Administration) meeting February 15th at the Mid-Winter conference, being held at Olympia Resort in Oconomowoc. The two new contests this year at Mid-Winter are the Bra Decorating (cancer aid and research ) and special Buddy Poppy ” Design a Mardi Gras Mask “. Our national president is from Louisiana, so a Mardi Gras mask is very appropriate. Prizes will be awarded for each contest. A very special thank you goes out to Joan Winkleski for taking these projects on allowing us to participate in both contests. I think we have a very good chance of being a winner. Come to our next meeting to see her outstanding, talented, creativity. Thank you Dear Friend!
