Dear Sisters, 

  Great turn out for our April meeting.  Good to have new 10519 members present, Marie Murphy, Anne Kuligowski and her daughter Annette. Virginia, hope you’re feeling better. WELCOME!

  Monday, May 6th from 3:00-8:00 PM, we have another opportunity to sell our Patriotic Reflective bracelets at the Greendale High School track meet. Please contact Jane Mlenar at 414-425-8361 or Kathi Schmeling at 414-702-4178 if you are able to give an hour or more of your time. More information will be coming for opportunities at Konkel Park in Greenfield, to set up on Sundays for our bracelet fundraiser.

   POPPYS, POPPYS,POPPYS, May is here, which brings our Community Poppy Distribution, Friday, May 10th, and Saturday May 11th. A great big THANK YOU to the Ladies that have already signed up. If you have not yet done so, please contact Roger Volland at 414-421-8030,he will be happy to give you locations available, time is up to you. Any length of time  you are willing to give is appreciated. This is a joint effort, we are here to assist our post in making this a successful poppy drive.

  The next opportunity for Poppy/bracelet distribution at Miller Park is June 4th and 5th. We meet at the Post and leave together. Times will be listed in next month’s newsletter.

  The audit for January, February, and March has been completed and sent to Department Treasurer.

  Jill Woznicki, Americanism Chair, and I presented two American Flags to St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Muskego. The flags were for two recently added pre-school classrooms. Not too early to start teaching patriotism. Principal and teachers were very excited to now have flags in their classroom.

  Installation, May 15th. Cocktails at 5:30, Dinner 6:30, installation ceremony to follow. Please RSVP along with $10.00 payment per person, to Nancy Ustruck, 3812 S. 57th St. Milwaukee, Wi. 53220  by May 10th. No money will be handled at the installation.

     Officers for the 2013-2014 year are President- Nancy Ustruck, Sr. Vice-Amanda Patterson, Jr. Vice- Elaine Kriesel, Treasurer- Kristi Milne, Chaplain- Marilyn Volland, Conductress- Karen Janezic, Guard- Shirley Meyer, 3 year Trustee Joan Winkleski.  Kathi Schmeling was appointed as Secretary.

   Installation on May 15th will be our May meeting. NO meeting on the 4th Monday of May. We will meet for our regular monthly meeting on June 24th at 7:30
